The human 5T4 oncofoetal antigen is a highly glycosylated protein expressed by trophoblast and a few specialized adult epithelia. Up-regulation of 5T4 expression in some cancers is associated with poor clinical outcome; overexpression of human 5T4 cDNA in epithelial cells can alter their morphology and motility, supporting a role for such functions in cancer and development. |

ADAM9 encodes disintegrin and metalloprotease (ADAM) domain 9, which is a member of the ADAM protein family. Members of this family are membrane- anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biologic processes involving cell- cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. |
|
ADAM12 is involved in skeletal muscle regeneration, specifically at the onset of cell fusion. ADAM12 is also involved in macrophage-derived giant cells and osteoclast formation from mononuclear precursors.

ADAM17 (TACE/CD156b) has proved capable of cleaving epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) ligands, extracellular Notch1, cell-surface receptors, and adhesion molecules. As proteolytic cleavage is an indispensable activation event for many of these substrates, ADAM17 has emerged as an attractive therapeutic target for the treatment of cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. |

Anti-ADAM19, Polyclonal [19MOCYT]
Applications: WB
Reactivity: Mouse PMIDs: 12682046, 9461614, 17344430, 14673146
ADAM19, is a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease-like domain) family. ADAM19 was first described in muscle cells as a protein with homology to the fertilins (ADAMs 1 and 2). |

ADAM28, also known as eMDCII, MDC-Ls and TECADAM, was first described in lymphocytes, also in Thymic Endothelial Cells (TECADAM), as well as in the epididymus. Later works describe two forms of ADAM28: ADAM28-S and ADAM28-L (short and long forms). |

Reactivity: Human
PMIDs: 21961047, 21320503, 20937830, 20715158, 20578262
Clone 11G5a recognizes the human CD151 cell surface antigen, also known as PETA-3. CD151 is expressed by epithelial cells, endothelial cells, platelets, megakaryocytes, monocytes and in the renal glomeruli and proximal and distal tubules. CD151 is not expressed by lymphocytes or granulocytes. More recently CD151 has also been shown to be expressed by erythrocytes, and to carry the MER2 blood group antigen.

Integrin beta1 (CD29) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that forms noncovalent complexes with various alpha integrin subunits to form the functional receptors that bind to specific extracellular matrix proteins. Integrin receptors are involved in cell adhesion and recognition in a variety of processes including embryogenesis, hemostasis, tissue repair, immune response and metatastatic diffusion of tumor cells.
