Catalogue Number | 151216 |
Applications | ELISA FACS IHC IF IP RIA WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | S100A9 (MRP14) |
Reactivity | Human |
Relevance | S100A9 is a cytosolic calcium-binding protein that forms a heterodimer. S100A9 is expressed in peripheral blood monocytes, neutrophils and keratinocytes (mature). Expression is lost on tissue maturation of monocytes to macrophages. S100A9 may be associated with monocyte and neutrophil activation and the accumulation of these cells in inflammatory sites. |
Host | Mouse |
Immunogen | Recombinant human S100A9 |
Positive Control | Neutrophil lysate (from spleen) |
Subclass | IgG1 |
Myeloma Used | Sp2/0-Ag14 |
Recommended Growing Conditions | RPMI 1640 (2% Bicarbonate) plus 10% Foetal Calf Serum. |
Strain | Balb/c |
Notes | The epitope was detected via phage display to be “….HHHK106P107GL109GEGTP” at the C-terminus of S100A9. |
Research Area | Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Immunology |
