Relevance | Rheb (Ras homolog enriched in brain) is an evolutionarily conserved member of the Ras family of small GTP binding proteins. Rheb is expressed at high levels in the brain, but is also found in many other tissues, and can be induced by growth factor stimulation. Rheb triggers activation of the Raf-MEK-MAPK pathway and has an important role in regulating the insulin/Target of rapamycin (TOR) signalling pathway. |
