Catalogue Number | 151773 |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | P450, Cyb5 |
Relevance | Improved model of abrogation of hepatic P450 function. The dual deletion of both Cyb5 and POR almost completely abrogates all hepatic cytochrome P450 activities; the new HBRN model thus provides a more authentic hepatic-P450 null phenotype |
Production Details | HBRN (Cytb5lox/lox::PORlox/lox ± CreALB) and wild-type (WT; PORlox/lox::Cyb5lox/lox) were generated by crossing HRN (PORlox/lox + CreALB ) and floxed cytochrome b5 mice (Cytb5lox/lox), and thereafter maintained by crossing of homozygous pairs within each line. |
Conditional | No |
Mouse Genetic Background/Cross History | C57BL/6J |
Zygosity | HBRN (Cytb5lox/lox::PORlox/lox ± CreALB) |
Research Area | Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, DNA Damage and Repair, Genetic Studies Tools, Metabolism |
