Info
Catalogue Number | 151820 |
Applications | ELISA IF WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Rat PITPb |
Reactivity | Human, Mouse, Rat and Dog |
Relevance | Mammalian PITPß (phosphatidylinositol transfer protein ß) is a 272-amino-acid polypeptide capable of transferring PtdIns, PtdCho and SM (sphingomyelin) between membrane bilayers. Ablation of PITPß is embryonically lethal. This antibody is specific for both splice variants of PITPß but does not recognise PITPa despite the 95% similarity between the two. |
Host | Mouse |
Immunogen | Whole Rat PITPb protein |
Subclass | IgG |
Recommended Growing Conditions | RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + 2mM L-glutamine + penicillin/streptomycin |
Notes |
Antibody specific for both splice variants of PITPb but does not recognise PITPa. Production yield is high Does work in IF but not as good as DaRT/U/4a7 |
Research Area | Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction |
