Catalogue Number | 152596 |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Human oncogene EJ Harvey-ras |
Host | Human |
Tissue | Breast |
Disease Keywords | Breast Cancer |
Relevance | SVCT-MI2 was established in 1987 from epithelial cells in breast milk secretions. The cells have been transfected by microinjection using SV40 DNA and a plasmid containing the neomycin gene and the human oncogene EJ Harvey-ras. After selection of G418-resistant colonies, the clone SVCT-MI2 was shown to be tumorigenic in nude mice. They also have the ability to grow anchorage-independent if cultured in soft agar. |
Conditional | No |
