Info

Catalogue Number 158048
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Cathelicidin 2
Reactivity Rainbow Trout
Relevance Cathelicidins are a family of antimicrobial peptides that act as effector molecules of the innate immune system with broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties.

The antibodies are useful tools to monitor fish CATH2, an antimicrobial peptide associated with infection.
Host Rabbit
Immunogen Polyclonal 1 developed using sequence 1: STTHPLDNCKISPQ (located in the mature peptide) Polyclonal 2 developed using sequence 2: KDSGGPKMGRKNSK (located in the mature peptide)
Formulation Unpurified anti-serum from rabbit preserved in 0.02% Thiomersal
Molecular Weight (kDa) 21.9
Notes Applications and Recommended Usage Conditions:
- ELISA recommended to be used at 1/20000 dilution
- WB recommended to be used at 1/500 dilution
- IHC recommended to be used at 1/1000 dilution; Antigen retrieval: microwave 20 min @ 800W in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0.
