Catalogue Number | 158054 |
Applications | ELISA WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Interleukin 17 (F2) |
Reactivity | Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Salmonids |
Relevance |
The IL-17 family comprises IL17A to F. IL-17A and F producing cells comprise a distinct TH17 subset in mammals. These Th17 cytokines induce the expression of numerous chemokine and antimicrobial peptides in epithelial cells and fibroblasts, which are important for the neutrophil-mediated immune reactions against extracellular microbes. The antibodies are useful tools to monitor fish IL17/F2, a cytokine associated mucosal health. |
Host | Rabbit |
Immunogen | Peptide sequences – KIPTEESEGNGNI (100% identical to Atlantic Salmon) and CVYPTNRSQYMRYRQ (66% identical to Atlantic Salmon) |
