Catalogue Number | 160886 |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Erythropoietin (EPO), Darbepoetin (Darbe) |
Parental Line | CHO-K1 |
Synonyms | haematopoietin, or haemopoietin |
Host | Hamster |
Tissue | Ovary |
Disease Keywords | Therapeutics, Haematopoiesis, Anaemia |
Production Details | The CHO-K1 cells were transduced with the two different lentiviral vectors for stable constitutive expression of 1) Darbe gene and 2) a ShRNA targeting a specific protease that can cleave the Darbe protein. G418 and Puromycin were used for selection of stable clones. The Darbe is expressed without any affinity tag and is actively secreted in the culture supernatant. |
Conditional | No |
Research Area | Drug Discovery & Development |
Recommended Growing Conditions | F12 media supplemented with 10% FBS and 1% of 5000U/ml Penstrep (penicillin G and streptomycin) antibiotic. The cells are grown in a CO2 incubator at 37°C with 5% CO2. |
